New Eyes on Campus: An Attempted Interview with Dr. Niels

Dr. Niels is my language professor. He's been working here for over 15 years. His hobbies include grumbling, snorting, and making mean red marks on unsuspecting student papers. My papers are practically full of them! And he always leaves notes on them, like, "See me after class," but it's never the fun type of seeing him after class.

Not that I'm encouraging those behaviors. Ho hum.

After a long day getting fired up by his students, Dr. Niels enjoys heading over to Wiggly Sauna to cool off and clear his head.

Unfortunately, he's never in the mood for company, which means no juicy gossip or fun for me. When asked to be interviewed, he said something along the lines of, "Ask me later, when you've spent more time on academics than on extracurricular activities." I do enjoy hearing his prim and proper voice. But now is not the time for that.

He's a tough nut to crack, but I believe within that hard exterior, there's a gentle heart inside.
