When Dean Thackary suggests a bit of fun, Marlii answers swiftly:
Rejected is a one-shot Action card that causes a player to discard two cards. It's a strong card to play near the beginning of the game, where your opponent will have to decide on tossing powerful Furre cards, or the resources required to play them!
Rejected can be found in Caramel booster packs!

That card can really ruin the day of the enemy player. If he have two or three cards left and you play out that card, you make him sweat. Even more so if he planned to use these cards to turn the game around.

Well, given the art for this set's Dicks Everywhere, I guess this story still has a happy ending for Dean Thackary.
@captainbozo - I think it would actually be really cool if they snuck one of the 1st Vanilla card images into the background of a later card as an Easter egg. Like, the same scene from the original Rejected could be visible out of a window, or there could be a portrait on the wall that was actually the 1st Vanilla Seppel card.

Seppel I'm sad you didn't do the art for this card again :(
Why must you make foxes sad?

Heh, Seppel, I'd like to know the story behind why he was rejected. Makes me curious what exactly caused Marlii to refuse him.

rainydaydance on Jan 30th, 2015 @ 06:06 PM
Ouch, that would mess someone's game up a lot.

it's the bow-tie. it may work for Matt Smith and Daniel Craig, but they're special cases.

There was a card I had that allowed you to pull 1 card from your couch, and put it into play, and remove another from the game. This seems like an idea for a combo to allow you to get past a lack of resources.
