@Scrimno: That's correct, except the pain counter has to hit first, or else shi'll still be at 5 or more. (You don't re-calculate hir PEs from the base PEs, only the current.)

Let me get this straight: play an alteration on Jan Sadi, and her Determined skill jumps her PE's up to 5 (assuming nothing is keeping her PE's down like Pain), which in turn activates her other skill of +2 MORE PE, making it 7? Otherwise 4 with a pain counter while altered I'm guessing. Make that alteration Jan Sadi's Fervor to stack her determination, am I right? Shi's head bitch for a reason I suppose!
