You know what? It's been a while since we've seen what those fancy ladies have been doing on the Brundali Express. Let's go take a peak and see what they're up to.
My my, the ever stylish Cirosouyat is showing off this season's hottest returning mechanic (and not much else). That's right, Multi-o is making a comeback by helping your girls come back just when it looks like they're ready to quit.
Why, all you need is to--
Well, what a surprise to see you too, Salacca!
Wasn't planning on talking about it just yet, but surprise, Salacca's here to show off the other returning ability: Tireless. Was planning on saving it for later, but Salacca here just surprised me with her surprising prescience, so I guess I just needed to surprise you readers too with the surprise (do you get that she's a surprise yet?).
Speaking of surprises, let's see what happens when these two love birds get together.
Whoa! That's... a really expensive furre.
And those stats are terrible for that cost. Know what that means? That means they have to do some spectacular! Oooh, what do they do? What do they do?
Okay, that's neat. Do they have some rabbit in them with how they keep going and going? Still doesn't justify that cost. C'mon Mage, show us the juicy bits.
Well... that justifies the cost and then some. Let's stop and think about this one for a second. When you get Cirosouyat and Salacca down you immediately get an action from a couch for free.
Keep in mind that's "a couch" not just "your couch." So if the Herm player across the table just had an Ample Affair, well you can have one too. How about a Sex Addict? Or Tighten Up? Or anything else that someone so helpfully left on a couch.
And when that SP finally ticks down to 0, then come back with Multi-O and you get to do it all again. So at their cost you're getting the charming pair and a pair of free actions to boot! What more could you ask for?
Stay tuned to see more of the actions and surprises from Brundali Rail Heist that'll get you begging for more!
Tomorrow: What happens on the train stays on the train!
Brundali Rail Heist preorders begin June 1st!

Many interesting options with these lovely cards.

Very interested in the idea of Surprise Furres. Will there be more of them in this set?
yuko on May 22nd, 2015 @ 02:22 PM
WOW! NOW THATS A VERY WELL ROUNDED CARD!
Zeneth_Starr on May 21st, 2015 @ 01:23 PM
Not...the comfy pillows?! *Gasp*
Okay, I know that had nothing to do with the cards, but I was feeding off Kaia. And if any of you out there don't know what I'm talking about, research Monty Python's Flying Circus, Spanish Inquisition skits.
On another note, this is a number of sexy (and powerful) furres we have here. I love 'em.

Nobody expects the Salacca & Boli'ana!

I've been pondering building a female/other deck for a little while now... these cards are just great things to build around. This is promising to be a very ambitious set.

that action stealing one's a tad risky, since it depends on whether there are any actions on the couches when you play it.

Thinking on how to use Cirosouyat and Salacca with misplace action cards.
polkakitty on May 20th, 2015 @ 08:17 PM
What I think is interesting about these is that they use similar ideas to some unique but underpowered cards from previous sets, except they're in different genders and redesigned to be more effective. Salacca and Boli'ana is like an upgraded Latecomer, and Cirosouyat and Salacca is like an upgraded Open Conduit (even though you can theoretically replay more than 2 Actions with Open Conduit, having to pay the GP costs for both those Actions and Open Conduit itself within the same turn is very limiting for what you can do with it in practice. To say nothing about how Cirosouyat and Salacca also gives you a Furre with pretty good stats....)
And, given something that Mage said offhand about the main characters, I'm starting to think there will actually be a 5-GP card with a teamup between two characters for each gender combination, sort of like the tribe leaders in Tanglebrook. Note that Asyari and Wahid also have two keyword skills, and then a scarily powerful additional skill....

0.0 -.- 0.0
ok. not only is that an amazing card, but the art is awesome.
also: Surprise Furres?!? yes, please.

If it isn't painfully obvious from how amazing these two are when together, the F/O gender combination got some much-needed mechanical love in this set. Competitive fans of those genders will rejoice getting to know them again with the arrival of BRU!

Love seeing cards with tech like this on them. Will make the games more intresting than just swinging over and over again. Looking forward to the rest of this set. Also loving the art work.
