Touching Base at the Kerno Headquarters with Oromet and Plumeria!
      by Callista Skip

Several fun things happen at the Kerno Headquarters: the night before the Heist, there's a rousing burlesque show, a day-long poker tournament, and a satisfying orgy of fun - something to really get the Kerno worked up before their Heist!

The Kerno leave behind a few awesome people at the Headquarters while they go flying - the arctic fox, Junior Technician Oromet is one of them!

As novice Technician, Oromet was told to stay and look after the fort, and while shi was frustrated with that at first, hir squirrley lover, the burlesque star Plumeria went out of her way to comfort hir.

The Headquarters houses a lovely bathing area that captures the rising warm air currents coming up the sides of the mountains. The burlesque troupe usually cools down after a performance by relaxing in the calm pools of water - and during a celebration, they're just as likely to heat everything up instead!

Oromet soon forgets hir frustration with not being able to join the Kerno, and instead relaxes under the attentions of several of hir very good friends...

Tomorrow, we start the storyline with all the players in place!

I agree. To me it truly does show off how impressive the tech is. The craftsmanship of it as well speaks volumes to the genius of the engineer who designed and built it.

To me, this may seem strange, but that mechanical limb is even more of an impressive feat than the trains or even the airships themselves. To show off something so advanced compared to even our own technology which struggles to design something as functional as just lends so much strength to the world and the story.

It may seem weird, but I think Plumeria just became one of my favorite characters out of this set. I'm extremely curious to know more about her history and background now.

To show a character like this that just transcends so much is a beautiful thing to me.

You know, I'd just recently discovered Krokpot, and it's great to see her art in this set.
