Welcome to Bai Watu, a country that takes its technological advancements very seriously. The Technicians (once known as Inventors & Mechanics) of Bai Watu are as commonplace as any shopkeep, and their constructs aid the general public with tasks great and small.
The newly finished Brundali Express on the T&A Line is finally ready for its maiden voyage, connecting Bai Watu's capital city of Tenggabana with Anjit, the capital city of neighboring country Jembravonti.
Let's take a peek at the train's route!
The brilliant Brundali will on board, along with a blueprint for a new project he's developing, but the start-up money needs to come from somewhere! That's where a force of wealthy fashionistas come in - Brundali must sway their interest and their purses in his favor! He's got a big meeting planned for the first evening on the train, and the fashionistas are excited to attend in all their fine attire.
What Brundali doesn't know is that he's not the only one eying their goods.
The Kerno are a group of renegades who have been keeping eager tabs on the train's big day. They have made contact with the Brothel Madam of Brothel Ixora, who have received two large cars in the train's line-up. The Madam has made a deal to help the Kerno gain entry to the train - but they can only board while the train is moving! Luckily for the Kerno, their airship is up to the job!
When the Kerno aren't creating mischief for the Bai Watu elite, they dock their ship in their scenic Headquarter home.
It is more than just a base of operations, however; it's evolved into a refuge for people avoiding political prosecution, a saloon for gamblers, a stage for a lovely burlesque troupe, a merchant's hull for people working in & out of the normal system, a workshop for creative Technicians - so on and so forth.
Check out the Kerno Headquarters!
While most of the Kerno are expecting to just rub elbows (and other bits!) with the Brothel and rich snobs, a pair of lovers - Bokeh and Tsou - have other ideas of how to have a good time.

I am really liking the sort of comic book feeling I'm getting off a lot of the images being shown.

I was kind of expecting a Wild West setting, but the Kerno Headquarters looks like Hunan, and some of the names sound almost like Sanskrit. I'll be really interested to see how this turns out.

the Kerno HQ reminds me a bit of Cloud City mixed with Mos Espa.
