some cards are hard to say whether their good or not i say all cards can be used good in a deck. Also i cant seem to find other peoples ratting. But this is an good idea to have
Astrid Varelse on Jan 4th, 2015 @ 11:20 AM
Rating the cards by "How awesome is this card in a deck?" definitely takes away a lot of my participation on this system. Mostly because I'm just starting off and don't have the cards to experiment with.
kwratster on Jan 3rd, 2015 @ 05:00 PM
not sure if anyone is going to see this but im getting a bit worried, i have sent in about 3-4 tickets and havent gotten responses over the 1 and a half moths ive waited
kwratster on Jan 2nd, 2015 @ 04:03 PM
rating by coolness? why not by sexyness :3
Nezumi12 on Jan 1st, 2015 @ 03:28 PM
i'd like to second polkakitty's bug report. i also have the badge without having rated anything
polkakitty on Dec 31st, 2014 @ 08:18 PM
This is a cool feature, but I kind of wish there was a way to be more specific about what we like about a card (reliability, combo potential, working well with a specific playstyle, the characters in it, sexiness....) I think that would also help you get a better idea of what kinds of cards people want to see more of in the future, which I assume is the main reason this was implemented.
I kind of feel the same way about art sites: sometimes people suggest that there should be multiple levels of favorites, but I don't think there's a real use case for being able to, in essence, make a list of things you kind of liked, but you didn't like them as much as your favorite favorites. However, I think there could be a good application for a system along the lines of Slashdot's +1 Informative, +1 Insightful, and +1 Funny (holy crap, I'm so old I actually remember when Slashdot was a big deal....)
(Also, it looks like there's a bug of some kind here, since I seem to have gotten the Master Rater badge without actually entering in any ratings.)

Love the badge name. Well there goes new years time to look at new cards.
Eerie on Dec 31st, 2014 @ 01:17 PM
Wait, I'm confused. Is this rating how awesome in a deck or how cool?
rainydaydance on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 07:39 PM
Sweetness. That's awsome
otaka on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 07:39 PM
thank you i bin trying to match up pics
Eerie on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 02:45 PM
It will be difficult to rate cards in a context of performance and not sexiness.
But I will do my best to be unbiased regardless of how titillating the image may be.
Nezumi12 on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 01:48 PM
@blizleopard: i think simply giving the ratings numerical values and then posting an average of all ratings might help. something like "4.2 of 5 stars, 37 votes". that way you could tell if the card really is something good or if it's just something a couple people really like. (3.5 of 5 stars with 1,000 votes would be better than 4.2 with 27 votes, for example). this is assuming that people can only vote for a card once.
although, i think this is more a way for the developers to figure out what the players like/use the most. if no one uses herm foxes (for example), there's no reason to continue supporting that deck/combo.
there has been a lot of new stuff added recently (glutton, adventurer, etc.) and maybe some of those skills aren't popular/supportable in decks. this could help weed out the unwanted and unused aspects. kinda like how predators kill the old and the sick so that the herd can grow stronger.
ezekiel_tyr on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 01:36 PM
woo rating now we get to the good part of this :3
LadySikerra on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 12:10 PM
Dose the trophy do anything other than just look cool? I'm a sucker for stuff like that, so I'll still try to rate enough cards to get it, but I was just wondering if it had any practical applications, I guess.
blizleopard on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 08:11 AM
@Lemonbread - That would require every card to have notes. What you would want would be something like a wiki-database for cards where people can put in thoughts on how to use cards.
BlueJay on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 03:05 AM
Looks like I'll be having a busy weekend.
clase90 on Dec 30th, 2014 @ 02:18 AM
collness, of course. Nice work with limetta
Lemonbread on Dec 29th, 2014 @ 09:43 PM
It would be nice to see what everyone rates the cards to help new people with figuring out what cards are good for certain decks and maybe which ones work well together.
Daralyn on Dec 29th, 2014 @ 09:16 PM
um... idea of coolness is nice, but what about hotness rating?
sirdan87 on Dec 29th, 2014 @ 06:31 PM
Nice little feature. Do enjoy the idea of including a badge for one's "Coolness".
Lafitte on Dec 29th, 2014 @ 06:18 PM
Will there be a publicly viewable ranking? It could be useful to see what the community as a whole thinks are good and bad, might make us reevaluate our strategies.
KeatonDawner on Dec 29th, 2014 @ 05:22 PM
Wait a sec... I didnt have my glasses on for that. Was that trophy for "MasterRater" or MasterBater"
Nah just kidding, I'm just bein silly!
But that does sound rather neat! I still have many many cards to personally playtest yet so I'll have plenty of opinion incoming :)
