Earlier, Ashamai and Buck were starting to rekindle their relationship.
The first two days of the visit were all business -- Lily and company getting to know the ins and outs of Buck's ski lodge, preparing for photo shoots and rehearsing lines to attract new visitors. Ashamai and Buck were hard at work with their own managerial business, oftentimes seeing each other, but never personally or privately. But they made an agreement that on the third day, they'd spend an evening together -- a date.
When Ashamai met at the agreed time and place, Buck was nowhere to be found.

Indefinite Delay is a Treat card, which means it stays in the scene after you play it, and it adds or changes rules to the game! In this case, Indefinite Delay makes you Elusive! Why is that important? With Indefinite Delay in the scene, any card that says "target player" can't target you!
Remember cards like Jan Sadi's Diversion?
...

If you're saving 1 AP for defense, then your opponent could play Jan Sadi's Diversion and leave you defenseless! But with Indefinite Delay, your opponent couldn't play Jan Sadi's Diversion on you!
Jan Sadi's Diversion is found in Awakening booster packs!
Indefinite Delay is found in Caramel booster packs!
Enjoy!
Caramel is available! Get your cards now!

polkakitty on Dec 21st, 2014 @ 02:30 PM @Nezumi12 - While it's possible to have a card that makes you Elusive and is itself Elusive if you have Sikaah the Purifier and Emil in a Fellowship, that would require too many steps to be done reliably, so I think your best option would actually be to make a Female/Otherkind deck with Indefinite Delay, and use cards like Freshman Fifteen or Chark, Vision Ward to deny anything that would get rid of your Indefinite Delay.
Also, most SP recovery cards don't require you to target yourself.
Nezumi12 on Dec 20th, 2014 @ 04:04 PM so now all we need is a treat that gives a treat Elusive. of course, anything that says "all treats" would still eliminate it. also, anything that says "all players" or "target furre's controller" could bypass your Indefinite Delay since they don't specifically target you. (though i could be wrong on the latter) the down side to this is that many healing cards target the caster/controller so you'd be SOL if you start losing SP
Lafitte on Dec 20th, 2014 @ 01:06 PM @Cheetahfurry=Actually, Ashamai there is a girl.

Cheetahfurry on Dec 20th, 2014 @ 10:44 AM Poor guy stuck in the corner. Just waiting with no one seeing him.
Lafitte on Dec 20th, 2014 @ 10:31 AM It looks kind of like they're trying to support the classic squirrel deck schema; get elusive to everything!

bradleycc on Dec 19th, 2014 @ 11:00 PM I love the art work of Jan Sadi's Diversion, very pretty work, and very hot picture;-)
polkakitty on Dec 19th, 2014 @ 09:37 PM It's interesting, in 1st Vanilla there was a card called Leashed Servant that made you Elusive, and I used to think we wouldn't see anything like that again because it was just too powerful. Now there are actually two other cards that can essentially do the same thing: Sikaah the Purifier (which is a card you play for the long game, since she needs to be level 3 to make you Elusive, and with her low :sp:, you'll need some tricks for her to get there,) and Indefinite Delay (which takes effect as soon as you play it, but being a Treat instead of a Furre is a weakness, since it doesn't help you in bed, and it's much easier for your opponent to remove outright with a card like Cold Shower.)
I still think it looks like a good card to have, though, especially to defend against cards like Draconic Thrust and Primitive Potion that target you, but affect your Furres, so an opponent can use them to bypass Elusive Furres' protection. Also note that you can still use Female SP gain cards, since (with a couple of exceptions like Pool of Tranquility) they don't require you to target yourself....
Zeneth_Starr on Dec 19th, 2014 @ 09:33 PM I think I know what I'm building now.
blizleopard on Dec 19th, 2014 @ 09:26 PM Once more, we see how subtle and powerful the female cards are. I'm almost wanting to build a new deck from stuff like this.
