We have fun creating cards that have mechanical crossovers -- that is, cards that deal with more than one new skill in a card set. We have to make them sparingly, though. Too many would spoil the harmony of the set and make things confusing for new players!
Patron Odonto works hard to keep his bathhouse business running smoothly with the help of his three highest ranking conductors: Koobaba, a solid conductor; Neriin, a heat conductor; and Eston, a liquid conductor.
We first mentioned Odonto 72 days ago, and now we're finally previewing his card!
Odonto has a Fellowship that can fit 4 Furres, including himself. To add a Furre to his Fellowship, exhaust him and pay 1 AP.
Odonto gives Conductors an extra energy counter when they join the Fellowship! That means they get an extra use of their powerful skills!
When the Fellowship is full, Odonto can make a Conductor use a powerful skill twice per turn! Most Conductor skills require the Furre to exhaust, but simply pay a Male Point and exhaust Odonto to get him to bring that Conductor back to its feet!
Oh, and he has 20 stamina (❤). He isn't cumming any time soon!
Outlast your opponents with strength in fellowship, and command your opponents with Grand Conductors! Fortune at Vell's End preorders are open! Order your cards now!

nice, you know seeing every new card makes for quiet a few nice combinations

Makes me wonder how many other cards are going to grant energy. Precisely how difficult will it be to recharge a spent conductor?

Such an awesome combo with conductors. Give them an extra energy counter, then enable them to conduct twice!
And how appropriate for an elephant to be the bathhouse master.

I'd work for him.
Also, don't you mean "Gas" instead of "Heat" when talking about Neriin's Conduction specialty?

definitely a good, solid character to have on your side. and as Lafitte mentioned, bound to be a staple of any male conductor deck.
Lafitte on Jul 21st, 2014 @ 12:01 PM
Wow... he's going to be a popular card. Backbone of any male conductor deck, I would think.

Oops, fixed! What do I know about the characters I helped create? XD

Koobaba was a solid conductor, IIRC. She conducts the fan, not the currents the fan generates. Windmills do not work that way, etc.
