Kuushik is the high priestess of a cult found in Panaway Forest. Kuushik has mastered potion-making and loves experimenting with new and exciting concoctions to see what happens.
...

Kuushik comes with the basic stats that you use in every game of Furoticon:
* From the normal 40 cards in a Furoticon deck, you may include 0 extra cards.
* You have an opening hand of 6 cards, and your max hand size at the end of your turn is 7 cards.
* From the normal 50 starting stamina, you start with 0 extra stamina.
* You have 10 AP per turn, and it costs 5 AP to draw a card, as well as 1 AP to swing with a Furre and 1 AP to put out with a Furre.
Also, in the upper-right corner, you can see that you can have any of the four genders in your deck.

All of Kuushik's followers are herm foxes, but Kuushik knows it's always best to try every new potion on herself, first. The tentacles were the most notable and popular transformation she discovered, and soon grew a thirst for thousands.
...

You can find Kuushik, the Thousand-cord in Fortune at Vell's End booster packs! She now has increased stats:
* Your starting hand is reduced to 5 cards.
* Your max hand size at the end of your turn is reduced to 6 cards.
* You may not have any Male or Female cards in your deck. (Notice the Herm and Otherkind symbols in the upper-right corner.)* For 2 AP, 1 Herm Point, and 1 Otherkind Point, you can put a Herm Fox Furre token into the scene!
Remember these followers?
...

Kuushik can bring out as many Foxes as you can afford! (Technically there's a cap of 40 objects per player in the scene.)
But Kuushik wants more. LOTS MORE.
...

Once you get 25 Foxes, it's time for one final transformation!
...

Dare you create this amazingly powerful creature? It's entirely up to you in Fortune at Vell's End!
Enjoy!

Seppel on Jul 17th, 2014 @ 09:45 AM Oops!
Kuushik's Transformation should make a Fox Demon! :)
Kaia_Cougar on Jul 17th, 2014 @ 08:01 AM @Callista I think Taz is referring to the fact that the Kuushik's Transformation card says to bring in a "Otherkind Demon Token", but the token itself is a Otherkind Fox Demon
CallistaSkip on Jul 17th, 2014 @ 04:15 AM Taz - it says "Fox Demon" on the species type line. Is that not what you're looking for?

Taz on Jul 17th, 2014 @ 12:13 AM @Lafitte: Lovecraftian demon sex god. ;)
Any Herm Furre with the Furre type Fox would count for Kuushik's Transformation. Lyscilla's Harem would count, as would any Herm that's been Shapeshifted into a Fox. Said Furres must be in the scene under your control (and therefore not in a belly, on a couch, or anywhere else for that matter).
By the way, know who doesn't mind showing up late to a Stikktog party? Behemoth, Voice of Gluttony. ;D
(No, seriously Seppel, is Stikktog a Fox or not?)Lafitte on Jul 16th, 2014 @ 10:33 PM Yuko: Afraid she won't work, as it has to be a herm as well as a fox. I can't recall what herm foxes there are off the top of my head, but the way the card reads, they should work.yuko on Jul 16th, 2014 @ 06:48 PM okay so the fox furre's can it be any fox or is it just the one shown above? I only really have harem charmer, shes the only fox I have right now....aside from stikktogLafitte on Jul 15th, 2014 @ 12:32 PM It is rough that, realistically, to play this card you need two specific rares. Kuushik, the Thousand Cord can be used alone and would be great for a glutton deck, but Kuushik's Transformation would be nearly impossible to pull off without her as a controller...
That's not really a complaint, though. I hope we see a LOT more like this in the future! It lends such an epic feel to the game, these sorts of big plays make the game seem way more exciting to me and it sort of takes the game to a greater narrative level: you're not just harem masters competing at sex anymore, now you're practically a new born Lovecraftian demon god! Even more rad than C'duyu.Yuri-Bloodfang on Jul 15th, 2014 @ 09:38 AM Now this makes it interesting. Not to mention pulling the cards from the boosters makes me rethink my next deck.Magetorment on Jul 14th, 2014 @ 03:03 PM @Lafitte: No, furres in bellies are not on the scene, so you can't use them for effects like this and they won't count toward things like Kinship Studio.
By the by, these lovely freaks may be my favorite things in the game. I love this whole concept, group, and the fact that they're foxes is just icing on the cake.BlueJay on Jul 14th, 2014 @ 02:18 PM I'd rather have this as another book, myself. I could do a pen-and-paper RPG, but I want a novel again, for the full and official story.Nezumi12 on Jul 14th, 2014 @ 01:22 PM ok. now we are definitely heading into RPG territory with this one.
i really want to see this as some kind of Role-Playing Game, either paper & dice like D&D, video game like Skyrim, or MMO like WoW.Lafitte on Jul 14th, 2014 @ 10:33 AM I notice the herm fox furres don't have to be the tokens... interesting.
Now, I assume you can't use ones that are in bellies?ezekiel_tyr on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 10:27 PM damn 25... for all PEs... thats painfulZeneth_Starr on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 10:04 PM *Eyes goggle* Wow! I'm also not sure how likely this is... But still...Kaycat on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 08:30 PM That's kinda interesting. I'm not positive that it's super realistic to expect to ever pull this off. But imagine the feeling if you did!RainbowKitten on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 06:58 PM Oh dear god yes! :-D I want my cards! Monday can not come soon enough! furryguardianninja on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 05:01 PM love it i would love to buy these cardsBlueJay on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 04:40 PM Holy living crap, a tentacled herm fox demon that only becomes a bigger, hornier version of itself?
Mother of god, I must have these cards!sirdan87 on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 04:40 PM I am scared of that thing! Bring me all of the conductors you have, NOW! (That won't work sir).... CRAP!
Overall, big baddy gonna hurt who ever they are going up against.Taz on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 04:35 PM Wait. Is Stikktog a Fox or not? That's technically relevant (in a manner of speaking), and I don't remember whether it was a Fox or not in playtesting.
Epic anticlimax time: Kuushik's Transformation can be denied (by a few different things, as a matter of fact)! Your opponent loses their Fox cultists, and at that point you can probably finish them off at your leisure. Just be sure to have more denial than your opponent is expecting at the ready!
Or perhaps you're not running denial? Well, perhaps you can play fast enough to get the would-be cult leader to finish their ritual prematurely. ;)Kaia_Cougar on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 04:00 PM Whoa! A...promo token card?
Please tell me there's an easy way to get this card...like maybe there's one included in the starter deck...sekksualjackal on Jul 13th, 2014 @ 04:00 PM Big bosses, leveling up, it really is a fantasy adventure. |
