gamercheez on Jun 24th, 2014 @ 09:59 PM Beautiful art and amazing ability, can't wait to use it!
BlueJay on Jun 23rd, 2014 @ 01:14 PM Have to agree with both Nezumi and Scrimno on both the card and avatar.
Seppel on Jun 23rd, 2014 @ 12:16 PM @Nezumi: Thanks! Sigil did it!

Scrimno on Jun 23rd, 2014 @ 09:19 AM Beautiful art, but I think I'd rather have Sweet Sue do the work without the risk of my opponent putting another Jinvon in the scene and effectively cancelling her skill.
Nezumi12 on Jun 22nd, 2014 @ 11:21 PM @Seppel: love the new avatar. It's really cute. :)
Nezumi12 on Jun 22nd, 2014 @ 11:21 PM @Zeneth: my take is that the Jinvon are the spirits of lions, rats, etc. and no longer have bodies. As such, things that would affect those species (like pheromones or nipple clamps) are ineffectual. I would be very surprised to see a masochist Jinvon, though sadism is entirely possible for them. I am aware that there is storyline indicating that they are fully capable of interacting with non-jinvon, but I feel that could be explained by claiming they have the ability to possess bodies and/or manipulate minds as well as possible telekinetic abilities.
Of course this is flavour text/background story. From a game mechanics view, giving them their own species type reduces the number of power-increasing card combos they can be affected by, thus keeping their power (and by extension, their cost to play) down.
Again, this is my opinion on the subject. I could be completely wrong. For all I know, the designers simply forgot to add the other species types to the cards and decided to claim "we meant to do that" after the cards had already been sent to the printer.
ezekiel_tyr on Jun 22nd, 2014 @ 09:17 PM i love how theres a catch to the card
Zeneth_Starr on Jun 22nd, 2014 @ 07:57 PM She's such a pretty thing.
Oh, and I have a bit of a theory about Jinvon. Kaia and i were talking and he was a bit disheartened that all Jinvon are JUST Jinvon. Not, like Jonvon Dragon, or Jinvon Lion, etc. Because there are some nice Jinvon that would go well in some good themed species decks.
My theory is, it seems like a lot of these jinvon can be rather powerful...and I was thinking that making them have a type that would allow them to be affected by species specific cards might make them TOO overpowered.
Any comment on that?
