Decks, stat mats, dice packs, collector's boxes, novels, play mats...
"Wait, what was that?"
They're in the shop now!
Oh, I don't know -- how about some amazing art on an awesome 24"x14" play mat! We've picked out some of our favorite backgrounds for this first round of play mats, and we hope you like them too!
And now some quick facts about them!
Size: 24x14 inches, 1/16" thick
Materials: Polyester & Rubber
Care Instructions: Anything that won't damage polyester should be fine to wipe this item down with. Machine washing not recommended, as it may fray the edges. If creased, any iron temperature below steaming should help, though be careful of any signs of melting rubber.
These are much higher quality than the stat mats!

on Jul 22nd, 2013 @ 02:56 PMYep, these are -FAR- less likely to cause awkward questions than the other ones. :Dcaptainbozo
on Jul 22nd, 2013 @ 10:03 AM@Jurann I wish you would've told meeeeee. I was in the bay area for the last 2-3 months, but now I moved out to SacramentooooKaia_Cougar
on Jul 22nd, 2013 @ 09:37 AMNeed to keep them g rated? Oh, let me guess, restrictions from your printer?Jurann
on Jul 22nd, 2013 @ 08:29 AM@CaptainBozo: I've been hosting some Furoticon nights at my new house in the bay area already, just never put anything up on the forums yet because I wanted to give it a few runs with locals/friends first. I may be open to hosting an event at my house in the next few weeks. As for playing elsewhere, as usual, it's gotta somehow work with a M-F 9-5 work schedule.captainbozo
on Jul 22nd, 2013 @ 12:20 AM@Jurann in regards to your wanting to play people from multiple regions, we ARE potentially planning another California Furoticon event next month, we just haven't made a forum topic yet :D You might get your chance again if you'd like :3ezekiel_tyr
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 11:58 PMthey are really nice from what I've seen though i wouldn't mind seeing certain characters on theses mats as well >.>Jurann
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 11:14 PMConcerning AP circles, since with a playmat most folks I know just use a little chit/marker on them, I don't see a need for them to be that big. You could just make them a little smaller and squeeze another 4-6 of them in there, prolly. Maybe even stagger them a little like on the tracking cards that come in the booster packs.
@CaptainBozo: What do you mean multiple counters? I just use one, I don't see how you COULD use 2 counters since the circles are so small and it would be confusing to other players (who want to make sure you're not cheating) to move around multiple counters. I admit I haven't played as many games as you nor played the same people as you, but most folks I know and play with have around 15 AP in their whole deck, and it hasn't been uncommon in games I've played that everyone gets their whole deck out. Would be interesting to see how people in different regions play, I guess. ;Dsirdan87
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 11:06 PMI approve of these mats. They integrate the Health and the gender points nicely.
If I can think of anything to what can be improved on these mats, I will pitch it to you folks. ^_^CallistaSkip
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 09:55 PMI can absolutely play with a SFW Taneka design. :)
Also, I guess this sort of request would be best on the forums, where I can do a poll. XDcaptainbozo
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 09:51 PMWould the SFW version of Taneka be considered G rated? Because I really, really want that
Also I think that the AP circles are enough |3 Average decks don't go nearly as high as Jurann's do. For the players that strive for crazy speed, they can use multiple counters. That's what I did with the stat cards!CallistaSkip
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 09:22 PMWe could either do a second line of AP circles, make them smaller overall so more will fit, or do a single large AP circle so you can just add to it? I just worry about taking up even more room in place of the background.
Also -- if you guys have suggestions for play mat backgrounds, let's hear 'em! Only restriction is that we'd need them to have G-rated backgrounds.Nezumi12
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 08:50 PMi was hoping these would end up available soon. thank you.
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 07:28 PMLoving the design, but I agree that 14 isn't enough AP for some players. I'm also hoping for some new art. Like...Oooh, I'd totally buy a flameroar kings.Jurann
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 07:12 PMDoh! Just placed an order a couple days ago. =P I will definitely add a playmat to my next order, I wanna check these new ones out!
One thing to note, though: AP only goes up to 14? =/ My usual decks give me anywhere from 15 to 22 AP per turn, lol. NEED MOAR! =DCarousel
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 04:41 PMI like the way these are laid out much better. Now if only there was a Taneka one... that would be amazing. :P These are gorgeous, however.LittleBoyEni
on Jul 21st, 2013 @ 04:02 PMMan, they are so gorgeous, I wish I had money to spend on this game :(
