First off, congratulations to HuskyRedz for naming all the otters in yesterday's update correctly! Husky wins 100 furos!
Now, in the comments about the Lutani Volleyball Team, Tsumi left the following comment: "Nice buff in Stamina, but very dangerous if you suddenly drop to 10, especially with tricks like Choke Chain around. Even Rough Thrust and Thrust make it scary to attempt it."
What if there was a card that could defeat Thrust, Rough Thrust, and Choke Chain?
Oh, there is! And otters have it!
Not only does Untouchable stop your opponent from successfully playing a Thrust, Rough Thrust, or Choke Chain, but it can also stop Choke Chain's skill from resolving when your opponent chooses to activate it!
Outlast your opponents with the Lutani otters -- Tribes of Tanglebrook will be released June 15th at Anthrocon!

These new cards are changing the bed. I have not played yet, due to lack of funds to procure the cards, but from what I've seen, each 'race' has it's own strengths and counters.
on Jun 7th, 2012 @ 01:32 PMEvery Furr has their Pros when it comes to the cons. Will make future deck building a great deal for the current and future sets to come.Otlan
on Jun 7th, 2012 @ 08:13 AMThis is a good double Wammy card to have. All you have to do is play it with a Furre Card from your hand, and if Choke Chains effect is about to activate, BAM! Now instead of one Furre, you've got two with wich to swing at your oppenet with.Xei
on Jun 7th, 2012 @ 06:13 AMNice to have something that can stop that, but the max rule can kinda hinder it's use in certain situations too.Moriarty
on Jun 7th, 2012 @ 05:38 AMA very nice power here. anyone playing against otters is going to have to put a lot of thought into the timing for their actions.ThePinkBani
on Jun 7th, 2012 @ 12:24 AMfunny! i got both thrust and choke chain! now i must get untouchable!Taz
on Jun 7th, 2012 @ 12:16 AMM/F Control vs. Herm Aggro suddenly seems like a much more interesting match-up.Schmuck_Noir
on Jun 6th, 2012 @ 11:59 PMLike I said with the Volleyball Team, nice to see some Male/Female multigenders in there. And of course, it is nice to see something that can resist Choke Chain easily.
On a completely unrelated note: I am actually kind of happy to see that Tribes of Tanglebrook seems to feature a larger number of Safe For Work cards than previous expansions. Not that I don't like the NSFW-stuff; of course not, it's an adult game for cripes' sake. I like my Furoticon just the way it is, thank you. But I do have friends who are interested in Furoticon on a pure card-game basis, and it helps that I can show them cards that I don't need to censor first. So much obliged to all concerned for that.HuskyRedz
on Jun 6th, 2012 @ 10:39 PMHa, you are not allowed to touch the otter!PheenX
on Jun 6th, 2012 @ 10:36 PMNice way to stop any funny tricks by the opponent. Still, I can see how the 10AP effect can come to use against the opponent.Tsumi
on Jun 6th, 2012 @ 10:35 PMFINALLY something that can stop Choke Chain's ability!captainbozo
on Jun 6th, 2012 @ 10:29 PMVery fun :3 Too bad it doesn't stop other treats, but it's not that big deal
Still, a great denial card for the otters
