Today, let's look at the ways that Kuushik's deck can trounce the competition!
So you've got a horde of Demon Foxes waiting to be swallowed. Vrem says, "Give me five and I'll block anything!"
When an opponent plays a Furre or Action card, you can immediately DENY it, sending it to your opponent's couch. No questions asked.
Denial must be used immediately when the card is played. Anything that's already in the scene can't be denied.
So how do you play Vrem?
-> You have 5 Demon Foxes waiting to be swallowed.
-> Your opponent plays Chosen Heroes, which costs 5 GP. (The cost is in the upper-right corner. The AP cost is the number, and the GP cost is the gender symbols.)
-> In reaction, you play Vrem, and have Vrem eat your 5 Demon Foxes. (Vrem is a Surprise Furre, which means he can be played at any time, even on an opponent's turn!)
-> Vrem swats away the Chosen Heroes! They go directly to your opponent's couch. Your opponent lost their biggest, baddest Furre, and spent all their AP and GP in the process!
Now, Vrem can deal with Furres before they enter the scene, but what about those pesky Adventurers that managed to sneak by and max out at level 3?
Kuushik's got you covered.
It eats all Furres.
Not just yours, but everyone's. Kuushik uproots the entire jungle and takes its inhabitants with her! (She's also Elusive so nobody can just poof the island. That would just be silly.)
Gradually, each turn, one Furre escapes.
And those Adventurers are brand new, weak, level 0 Furres!
And your Gluttons get to do their magical gluttons powers over again!
And that's not all! Notice the wording: At the end of each player's turn, that player returns a Furre to the scene under its owner's control.
Consider that for a moment: Suppose your opponent has 3 Adventurers, while you have 2 Gluttons and 10 Demon Foxes. After they rescue their 3 Furres, they have to start rescuing YOUR Furres on their turn!
The fun doesn't stop until everyone's off the island!
Vrem, Sudden Swallower and Kuushik's Ascension can be found in Kuushik's deck from the Sikaah vs. Kuushik deckbox!
We've got plenty more cards to preview every day, and it just keeps getting hotter!

All this talk of eating Furres is making me hungry, lol.

@Glitch: They choose any player's Furre. Multiplayer shenanigans are afoot! :)

I'm curious in the kuushik assention. Does the player choose a fur that is theirs or choose any players so that they can help in multiplayer by giving an ally their furre back

Wish Kuushik's Ascension would go to the couch instead of being dismissed when it is empty.

@ezekiel: if adventurers would come back with 0 Xp, i'd assume all furres would be at max Stam
basically, it would be the same as if they had just been played for the first time. (which would mean "when X enters the scene" effects would go off at that time)

I love the creativity behind these cards! There's a reason this is my favorite game and no it's not the art :P
