-> Lady Ahla, head to the Vel'Jid Bordello.
You don your mask of intrigue and take an escorted walk through the guild. As you enter Vel'Jid Bordello, you bump into one of your high-ranking Guards.
: "Oh! Hello, Lieutenant Ahrune."
: "Please, my Lady, when I'm here, I wish to be known as the Pouncing Legend."
Of course, the code names. Those in high society need a private life, and Vel'Jid bordello has been unofficially declared the safe haven from politics. Ahrune was inseparably aligned with your grandmother's ideals, including her wish for you to settle down with a Head of House or other rich noble. Why, even consorting with commoners was considered so harmful to the affairs of government that, after a few unfortunate events of grand theft, it was declared treasonous. Where your tryst with Captain Talgurin lies in Ahrune's head, you wouldn't dare to find out. It's a very real threat that you could be arrested by him. Another key component of your grandmother's legislation was that not even she (and now you) would be above the law. And if you changed that law, well, that would make things quite obvious, quite fast. So, instead, it's best for you to remain as positive as possible around Ahrune, and entertain his silliness.
: "Why, I'm so sorry! I had no idea I was in the presence of the Pouncing Legend. Please do forgive me. You're looking handsome as ever; is the gym treating you well?"
: "The gym? Hah, I don't go to the gym, I'm just naturally this way."
: "And I do hope you stay that way. You've served your city well all these years."
: "Thank you, my Lady."
: "Oh! I almost forgot. Have you seen the Dashing Mink, or the Pomp Pomeranian?"
: "I believe the Dashing Mink is, ehm, tied up right now. Allow me to check for you."
It really wouldn't have been much trouble for you to go look personally, but Ahrune is all too eager to help. You decide to wait in the foyer.
You wait patiently. And wait. It seems like far too long just to check in on someone. But maybe he's distracted himself with some fun as well?
Finally, he returns, his expression stoic, his robe missing. What could have happened?
He speaks with deep bewilderment.
: "My Lady..."
: "Yes? What is it?"
: "My Lady, ehm, this way. I'm sure you have matters to discuss."
: "Is everything okay?"
He doesn't respond. You follow him, though you can't shake an odd feeling of discomfort. He leads you to a private room and opens the door.
He walks away without a word.
What's gotten into him? And who or what is in this room?
-> Enter the private room.

Loving the code names. I'd be tempted to come up with one for every character, lol.

Well this is ominous. Either someone is in a very embarrassing situation or there's a plot afoot.
