Concerning the Winter Freebie Pack

Post by Taz » Tue Dec 20, 2011 8:45 pm

Is it supposed to cost the 100 Furos that come with the Furotion.com account? Because I can imagine a handful of problems that could arise from this . . .

First of all, what if someone had already used (or perhaps gifted) their Furos to the point where they dropped below 100?

Secondly, if it's just a kink in the system that requires that Furos be charged, that would make it somewhat difficult to do similar "Freebie" Packs in the future.

I'd assume it's to help cover any shipping costs.. and if it's possible to transfer furos from account to account (I didn't think it was) then I suppose I could give you some of mine if you did so happen to be below 100.

I don't live in North America, so.. x3

I was also curious about this. Spending 100 furos for someone who already has an existing account doesn't exactly sound free...but being greedy and over-eager, I already spent the hundred furos and got my "free" cards anyway. |3

You get 100 Furos free with your account, and it costs 100 Furos, so yes, it is technically free. It's how we're managing to make sure nobody tries to game the system. ;)

I'll reiterate: this stunt is one that's going to be tricky to repeat in the future. :blank:

I think it's a good idea to get people into the game. I do agree though that calling it free is sort of misleading. How about if someone makes an account they get the free cards by default if they so choose?

Also, do we get to know what the card(s) are that we get? :P

Thank you for the freebie cards because at my rate I wasn't going to get some spare cash for a starter with all the life is throwing at me.
